A house of attention has found an unlikely fame as the oldest influencer in Britain at the age of 103, after becoming a feeling in line with his viral makeup tutorials in Tiktok.
Joan Patridge continues “Put his Rouge” every morning before the day begins at Millcroft Care Home, in Redditch, Worcs.
The staff there decided to start making videos of their daily routine and stunned when a clip attracted almost 300,000 views on Tiktok.

And he says their best beauty tips to keep you youthful include no smile to avoid leaving white lines while applying blushing, sweeping the skin to mix and not use too much makeup.
The grandmother of the granddaughter of six John said, “I know I am 103 years old, but I still like my makeup. I do it every morning when I get up.
“I didn’t know much about Tiktok. I thought it was a clock.
“I never thought I would have gained so much attention. I was impacted and overwhelmed.”
Joan, originally from Birmingham, obtained fans from all over the world after the house of attention shared his tutorial on how to apply his degree.
John explained how his red was dragged through his cheeks, mixing it gently on the skin with his pad.
He revealed that the trick was to avoid smile when the blush was applied, as it can leave obvious white lines where the makeup has lost its folds.
As he admitted that some people like to smile to show their chicken apples, he jokes that he cannot thanks to “so many wrinkles he can’t do.”
But he warned fans to take time when applying their makeup, warning them not to apply too much for fear of bright red cheeks.
Another upper tip was to “melt” the product instead of using circular movements to ensure a super soft finish.
And, although Blush is his favorite, John’s morning makeup ritual is not complete without applying his eye drainer to make him look “as if he had some tabs.”
Ever since the footage was hung in April, fans have come to thank the big for their best tips, with some even asking for more.
Since then, the collection of makeup brands has sent the free gifts of pensionist full of pallets of blush, lips and beauty.
John joked that he is “too old to work”, but he says he is excited about the opportunity to “collaborate” with the firm.

“Going to London was wonderful and nobody thought that an old woman of my age would go out and would have fun.”
John’s granddaughter, Nicola Hulme, 50, added: “Nan really moves me, she is always up to height.
“When it came to Millcroft we thought we would have a relaxing time, but no, decides to go viral to Tiktok.
“I am very proud of my dwarf, it is beautiful for me and for all of us. She is very unique and I love her very much. I always tell her that she is good, but not too good.
“He shared all the makeup with all of his home. This morning he put Nan on Facebook and had 5 million views on this.”
Millcroft’s manager Lyndsay Sard said: “The makeup you used, someone had tagged the company and said, look, you are using your makeup.
“And the company contacted us, which was very nice, to say how beautiful it was to see Joan do something like that.
“And they wanted to send the makeup directly to John.”
